look cute, convenient being an all in one but not very absorbent and they gape around my DDs rather chunky thighs so not sure how they would do on a slimmer baby. Agree with other poster that they don't wear that well so resale value would not be that high.

Very convenient for use while out and about as there's no folding or pinning or any additional wrap required.
However, the absorbancy isn't great and, even when boosted, I wouldn't use them overnight with DD. We also found they didn't cope with runny breastfed poo!
They also take quite a while to dry (longer than overnight if left on an airer) and after 6 months of washing are showing signs of wear. I don't think they'd last more than one baby.
I shall replace with a different brand when DD outgrows them.

I used these on my toddler, but found that it was not allways great at containing poo.
I bought three to use on my newborn and had great leaks, but habve found it great as a night time nappy as I can add booster and baby lasts ten hours through the night.
These are very quick drying, if they are not soiled I hand wash and they can dry completely on the line on a good day from drip dry.

We were given these by a friend who had already used them for both of her boys and raved about them, so we didn't look a gift horse in the mouth! We had 20 of them, which was great. We didn't use for the first 2 weeks, but dd was fine after that, but she was a bit of a beachball, so I can see that it may not work for smaller babies.
Ease of use was fab, just like a disposable. We used biodegrdable liners and washed these down the toliet, and then popped the nappy into a sealed bucket to soak in a water and vinegar solution to neutralise any smell. When we had 2 buckets full we popped them in the machine. They did take a while to dry, but I just chucked them on the line, or a radiator and didn't mind.
I didn't use them at night (put dd in disposables then because of a pfb fear of nappy rash!) so I can't vouch for their effectiveness overnight.
The only reason we stopped using them was the fact that I went back to work 4 days a week, and dd's nursery wouldn't accept her in reusables (grrr). Recommended.

Kooshies Ultra are the all-in-one cloth nappy with the waterproof outer already sewn into the nappy.
I wasn't able to use them with my DD until she was 12 weeks old as they did not fit around the all important thigh area to begin with and poo was gushing straight out. Once they fitted though, they weren't too bad, but still had a few accidents and had to be prepared to change clothing sometimes twice a day. They are handy when out and about because you don't waste time putting on a second outer wrap - so the time to change is as fast as doing disposables. But the advantages end there. Being all-in-one and 100% cotton they take ages to dry - all day on a sunny summer day! You've got to have a tumble drier with these. I still have 5 in the second size up for my DD (now 7 months old) but they are definitely second fiddle to our favourites, Bambinex. (see my review there).
