Quote of the week

CaptainNancy's (admirably succinct) family rules: "Don't be a dingbat/duffer. Keep calm and carry on. Dream big. Shut up and get on with it."

Recipe of the week

Carmenere's cinder toffee: sweet, sticky, made-in-five-minutes toffee squares that'll spark off a few 'yums' among the 'oohs' and 'aahs' of your little fireworks-watchers.

I love these and have a couple, they are very cute and slim fitting. They aren't hugely absorbant so not much use for night time, but they are so easy to do up I use them for when I am out an about. Just beware of bfed baby squitty poo, had some leakage on that front, but to be honest have had that issue with most nappies I have tried!

Lovely - nice soft fleecy inner, great coloured outer, but best of all they do up with poppers at the side, and so can be pulled up and down like pants - perfect for potty training.

We do have the odd leak, but I think this is mainly because I don't put a lot of stuffing in (as DS is potty training).
