I love these nappies. I had major problems with leakage until I discovered these. I use two microfibre inserts and a paper liner and my son goes for about 4 hours between changes. We very rarely have any leaks and washing is a doddle and they dry very quickly.

I also bought some of the disposable weenee pads to go in the nappies but these make them actually more expensive than disposables when you take into account the cost of the pants as well. I keep some pads for when we go away but otherwise just use washable inserts. A fab nappy overall.

I have only been using these for a couple of days, I have been trying different types. This is a massive improvement on the mothercare smart nappy of similar design as you don't have to change the pants every time. The pouch managed my three months runny poos and didn't even soil the pants. This is unheard of for me even with two part systems, as the wrap usually soils.

Very comfortable and slim fitting. Only drawback is that as baby gets bigger, the velcro may rub.

I find the medium mothercare smart nappy pads fit in these, with a microbibre booster on top.

I love these - mostly due to the look of them. They come in many fantastic colours and are really trim and snug - a lovely stretchy cotton cover with a 'snap in' waterproof pocket inside, which you can fill with microfibre prefolds.

They are not extremely absorbent (although you can boost the prefold with some hemp of similar thin fabric) - DS goes 2-4 hours in them, but they look fab and fit under all his trousers and dungarees.

The cotton covers wash well. The waterproof pouches need to be washed at 30, and don't last forever - I get 6-9 months out of them (although I have some newer ones which seem to be made out of a different material, and have been going 9 months now and are still ok). The pouches are about £3.50 each.

Actually really good, basically have a cotton pant, with a plastic hammock (pouch) inside to hold microfleece inserts. When you change you just need to change the insert (except for the odd accident). We particularly liked them as only small part of nappy area stays damp, rather than entire nappy. Our little one was a bit on the slim side and all the others made him waddle terribly. Also had the least leakage of all reusables and have tried a few. Very useful as fasten at the back so much more difficult for those strippers. Don't know how they would manage with the more liquid newborn stuff, we only started once we were weaning, think you may have a bit more probs with leakage. Also because of how the system works you can get by with very few nappies, if you have any other foldables these can be used also, but I would really recommend the microfibre ones. There are only three sizes of pants and two sizes of the plastic pouch liner. Finally if the idea of all that washing scares you off, but you want to do your bit for the environment, you can get biodegradable inserts which you can compost (if only wee) or flush down the loo.
