I wish I'd seen these before buying bamboo nappies - they fit much better under my daughters clothes (saving me from consigning ever more clothes to the attic because I simply can't squeeze them over the nappy), they are much more absorbent and dry in half the time (the difference is really obvious when they both come out of the washing machine together). And if I'd started out with cottontail nappies I wouldn't have the expensive of buying the next size up!

I was a bit bamboozled by the range of reusables out there and had not had the greatest success with Motherease nappies. I was about to admit defeat when my sister introduced me to Cottontail nappies and my baby loves them (he had cried previously when I used alternative reusables) - they are really soft, absorbent and easy to use. What I also really valued was that Rosanna from Cottontail was so friendly and helpful in answering any questions (having designed the nappy herself) - essential for someone like me who was borderline about using reusables. Definitely give them a try.

As a first time mum trying to find a good reusable nappie was nightmare. Having only the internet really for any comparisons I found the Cottontails came out tops.

They are very easy to use and to wash with a quick drying time. They are great at catching even the wettest BF baby poop and when they do have alittle seepage they leak no more than any disposable I have used on my little girl. The fit is super, especially as my baby was very small at first, they really are growing with her.

Overall this is a totally different nappy to others on the market, the fabric is very soft and even washing and line drying in a hard water area hasn't spoiled that. The nappy really does go very tiny but dries better if you open all the rather fiddly clasps. It does dry faster than bamboo but is no where near as absorbant. In fact I started using the booster when my son was only 4 months old. Now at nearly nine months I have substituted the booster that comes with it for a better one as this nappy can't really cope with too much and is certainly not suitable for over night. The outer wrap that comes from the same company is a real disappointment, it looks and feels lovely but despite trying it many times it always leaked. I tend to use this nappy with a Motherease wrap which seems to be a better combination. My only other concern with this nappy is whether it really will last until potty training. My nine month old, who is pretty small and slim is on the last popper on each side and I fear that its days may now be numbered. I have tried many real nappies and although I like the cleverness of this nappy I think there are better birth to potty nappies out there for less money. This is one of the most expensive on the market and although nice and slim and certainly good for tiny babies I would spend my money on an Easy peasy which is way more absorbant and has a nice fleece liner which this nappy lacks.

dissapointed with the performance especially at night time, I used with a motherease wrap, which normally works really well, but in morning very wet baby and sheets. Didnt do too badly during the day lasted 2/3 hours. Would definately need xtra boosting at nightime
