BGs are now the backbone of my nappy stash. They are practical, pretty slim, wash well, and seem comfortable.
I would prefer a bit of natural fibre somewhere and I don't love them in the same way as I love my strokeably fluffy Blueberries and Itti Bitti D'Lishes, but I can't fault them on reliability and ease of use.
Five years ago, when DS1 was in nappies, any AIOs/pockets I tried seemed to leak within minutes, whatever I stuffed them with. These days, I am far too lazy to bother with a two-part system (except for at night). And I am thrilled that there are so many wonderful nappies to choose from.
They were great on chunky monkey DS2 until, at two-and-a-half, he decided he no longer wore nappies by day. DS3 is a month old now and a wee scrap of a thing at just about 7lb. They are brilliant on him.

Brilliant for the day, useless at night as super-soaker DS has been known to soak through his V3s in a couple of hours. However they dry super fast, look v. cute, are so easy even my dad will change his grandson and appear to be standing up to the wear and tear.

I love these nappies! Got a few for DS to use at nursery as they are as easy to put on as a disposable. Very trim fitting too. They dry really quickly too.
I wish I'd used them exclusively from birth. Really can't fault them at all...apart from being expensive but they are worth it.

Cannot rave about these nappies enough. So good that I have convinced all the girls from my antenatal group to try one. I have converted two of them and I am sure that the others will be converts soon.
Find these so easy to used and have fewer leaks than with the disposables I used before I was organised enough to be able to use reusables. The fleece lining means that the nappy doesn't feel wet against my babies bottom - unlike the little lamb and the bumble nappies that I also tried which were soaking after a short time. These really do feel like a washable version of a disposable nappy.
I have the v3.0 nappies which have a newborn and standard insert. I use the standard insert for night and the newborn insert for the rest of the time and as I mentioned above I have had very few leaks (my son is 10 weeks old). This also means that the nappy is not bulky at all and so no need for large clothes.
If you are wondering which nappies to trial this one is a must - I guarantee you will be a convert afterwards.

I love these nappies. I have onesize version 2 and 3. Very few differences between the two. v3 has more flexibility in making it smaller for a newborn, but for my older baby, there is practically no difference. They are easy to put on, being a pocket nappy, no wrap required, nice fleece inner, absorbant microfleece to stuff with, and they wash really well.
