We bought these in a sale, to get us through while we waited for the Tot Bots to arrive. They're not a great deal more bulky than disposables, which baby liked, but on the other hands they are definitely more prone to leaks than the Tot Bots - especially since our breastfed baby produces very runny poos! If you get these, you'll need a LOT more than the three wraps you get in the starter pack - I'd say you need at least six and if the baby's breastfeed, possibly even 8. On one bad day, we got through a wrap per change and had to turn to disposables when we ran out. Having said that, they're cheap (relatively speaking) and cheerful, quick to dry, and not difficult or time consuming to make up. So I'd still go for these rather than disposables.

an easy to use system...... i like putting natural materials against my babies skin.

rather bulky under clothes and when putting my baby into her bouncy chair or swing.

although i had every intention of using reusables i won't buy another pack.... washing and bulkiness being the decing factors

We were really disappointed with Cotton Bottoms - we were also really stupid! We bought the Birth to Potty pack without trying them out first - being first time, slightly naive parents. We thought that we'd get stuck in straight away. It's the wraps that annoy us most, they are very fiddly to fit properly and we always have some sort of spill. The cotton nappy always seems to protrude out of the wrap - and of course so does any mess our daughter may have made! We also only seem to be able to use the wrap once, twice if we are really lucky. A friend has suggested that we try a wrap from a different company, at least that way we will still be able to use the cotton nappies - at the moment we use 6 CBs then move onto disposables while the wraps get washed!

cute wraps, but occasional leaks as usual with prefold system. an economical & often great nappy system tho.
