Only an 8 for ease of use because they take a long time to dry even on the hottest day which means you'll need a few extra to avoid having to tumble dry every day. On the plus side they leak far less than disposables which means far less washing than stripping your baby every time she's dirty. I like the shaped design which is a good fit on my babe. Overall, I'd buy again and even at £8 per nappy they are good value as their resale value is high: recouping two thirds or more of the purchase price on Ebay. Only downside for value is you will need to buy bigger sizes as baby grows. Also reliability only 8 as the velcro has shredded on one nappy and a wrap, but exchange of faulty goods was painless. My baby is happy in them and looks cute with her 'Fairy baby' bum. Disposables seem harsh in comparison with the paper leg holes rasping on delicate skin. I am a convert to reusables through tot bots (first child was a disposable wearer).

The original nappies are Pretty good. Obviously made for short babies so the sizing is off for taller babies. Very reliable but slow to dry. They make a good night nappy. I wouldn't use them in the day. Very bulky. Tots wraps are awful they shrink and leak.

Fluffles nappies are probably the best that i've found - they dry in an instant (without a tumble drier), they're always really really soft, and - most importantly, they've never leaked. Great for nighttime. And day time.

i've yet to investigate supplementing my size one nappies with boosters, etc, but i found they do leak if i don't change my daughter every 2 hours. one helpful website did point out that the rainbow bots which i have ARE less absorbent than the others, and there are other wraps that might be more effective. definitely worth bearing in mind if you plan to buy them before you know how heavily your baby will wee!
