These are so simple to use - just as easy as a disposable to put on, and baby looks so cute in them. Baby found the bulk a bit of a shock at first and was inclined to grizzle, but he's used to them now. As for the extra washing, well, a new baby = lots of washing. The nappies just become part of the extra. We tried a number of real nappies before deciding on these - ease of use and lack of leaks being the key factors that steered us towards Tot Bots.

Have never had any leaks with these nappies, they can cope with anything my lad produces. He is a bit on the skinny side and I find the nippa versions fit him better, and also prefer the unlbeached to the rainbow/white versions.That said they are quite bulky and take a while to dry

Personally I feel with a terry based nappy you really do need to use a drier to ensure that they are soft for the baby to wear, even if it is only for the first 40 mins or so and then put out on the line. Mine are definitely showing signs of wear and thats only after 1 child who at 2 years has just started potty training. For the next I think I will use a conbination of tots and motherease.
