why would you not want to use something that saves you so much money, is good for the environment and is best for your child?

cheap and easy to use once you get the hang of it.. I use the small 40x40 for my newborn (now 3 months)simply folded into 3.. remember to change often (you can't leave as long as disposables... mind you I had leaky disposables when I used them!)

Quick to dry and one size fits all from newborn to 2 year old. Great to think you never have to buy anything to do with nappies again. Save money by keeping out of the shops.

terry nappies can be great if you know how to fold them to suit your babies shape, they are incredibly absorbant and can look very cute although there are obvious draw backs they can take a long time to master and it can take longer to put on a small wriggling baby then other nappies however they do not take long to dry and are very resiliant

What a con the disposible nappy manufacturers have pulled. I used terries for my second baby with a small piece of thin, disposable liner and pull on plastic pants (less leaky than disposibles). Shook poo into loo, chucked nappy into bucket of Boots soak and when full threw the whole lot into washing machine on rinse cycle. Put them on the line still somewhat stained: they dried quickly on even a bleak day and miraculously turned white. Never had to lug packets of nappies back from shops. Used fancy origami on small baby, changed to kite for larger one. Because they are soggy and less comfortable than disposibles potty training was early and fast - lack of comfort is a real plus.
