I think these are really well made pushchairs that can handle pretty much anything. We have an Urban and it has a large seat which reclines to nearly flat and our son has alays had great naps in. I think it really will last most children from birth until they no longer need a buggy. Really light to push even tho not the lightest to lift! They are wider than some single pushchairs but still fit through most doors. Would highly recommend them!

I had a MB Urban for a year and used it with the carrycot for our newborn - it was great at first, very sturdy, robust, looks very smart and was very comfortable for our baby. A year down the line and I found it too big & cumbersome lifting it in and out the boot - so not good for 'popping' here and there and it took up the whole boot too! We've now got a Maclaren and couldn't be happier. The MB Urban is great if you have a bigger car and room in the house etc but may be worth purchasing a cheaper lighter buggy for day to day.

I love my Mountain Buggy. I would recommend it to everybody. Worth every penny. I bought in 2004. My son is 4 now and we still use it for long trips and to get home from swimming etc when he gets tired. It has lasted without any problems all this time and so has all the accessories. I bought the full works with carrycot, footmuff (or sleeping bag as they like to call it), bumper, shade etc. Its really easy to manoeuvre, singlehandedly in fact not even bugaboo can do that (my friend has on of those). Why do people think its got small basket? I personally think its massive especially if you compare it to any ordinary buggy out there. True it is not smallest when folded but it stands upright without support so you can leave it pretty much anywhere. Ours fits neatly behind our front doors. When we first bough it we didnt have a car so I used it on public transport all the time and as far as I know it can squeeze through the front door even on the small low deck buses. I believe the buggy is really safe and my son also finds it really comfy and I remember him (what seems like ages ago!) climbing into it to have his afternoon nap at friends house!

Bought a mountain buggy when my daughter was born and have used only this for her and her brother. She is now 6 and he is 3 1/2. Apart from the odd puncture nothing has worn out. Can't recommend it highly enough if you want a tough all terrain buggy. Friends have gone through 2 or 3 pushchairs/buggies in same period of time so feel I made the right choice all that time ago!

This buggy is brilliant, the best i've had (and this is buggy number 7!!) I've had a mamas and papas, bugaboo cameleon, quinny zapp, maclaren quest, out n about nipper & a phil n teds sport and this is by far the best. For a buggy that weighs 10kg it is amazingly light, its a dream to push and still easy to manevour with a toddler on the buggy board. It folds up really flat, its just a bit long. I live in South West London and spend most of my time, either shopping or on one of many commons/parks. This buggy handles both really well. I've yet to take it on a bus, but its handled, the tube, tram and the trains without any problems. It was the one i wanted when i had my first child (who is not 3 1/2) but as i lived further out of town, i used my car most days and it wouldn't fit in the boot of my golf. Thats the only real issue with the buggy is the length when folded means it wont go in smaller cars, so i'd recommend you check the size before you buy (same with any buggy really). you can add a carrycot for newborn or car seat adaptor to make it a travel system. Its not the cheapest on the market and once you add the carrycot, its on par with the bugaboo (which i have had and it doesn't even come close to the mountain buggy) Its well worth the money.
