An excellent guide to communicating with our children, I wish I had known about it years ago, many conflicts and stress (mine!) would probably have been avoided!

"Easy to read with sound advice that can be applied from toddlers up to teenagers." "It helps you to look at things from a child's viewpoint - it's all about respecting their feelings and emotions - which sounds a bit wishy washy liberal, but it really makes sense and it really works." "It encourages you as a parent to communicate with your child in the most effective manner without resorting to smacking or shouting." "I have found this book invaluable in dealing with my three year old's tantrums and seen a definite improvement in her behaviour since adopting the principles the authors recommend."
