Alright, not strictly a parenting book. More a how to get pregnant so you can move onto parenting book. This book is amazing, following the life of its author as she and her husband go through years of infertility testing, procedures, failures, heartbreak. She writes with such humour and truth she has you laughing out loud one minute and weeping the next. It covers many other issues as well - the death of her mother, the strain on her relationship, her ambiguous feelings about other people's children. I think she was a blogger before she wrote the book and it is in short and manageable chapters (perfect for that 10 minute reading time you manage to steal whilst In The Night Garden is on).
