This is a fantastic book which is easy to read and digest. The practical bits are easy to use and results are pretty quick.

I think, unlike other parenting books webster stratton reminds us that if we act positively to children they will react positively back.

My friend has just started reading this and attending the course in Wales and the difference in her four year old girl is fantastic. From moody, rude and obstructive to relaxed, conversant and pleasant! Top tips include praising the good SPECIFICALLY and ignoring the bad (unless it gets out of control). 10 mins a day playing with them, the way they want to play. I was so impressed I have just ordered the book. Based on a study of 3000 families - the most comprehensive study ever done on children and behaviours. Highly recommended.
