I did not like this book - the bit about tying up your child's bedroom door certainly in the edition I read is just ridiculous. In fact if you have a bad sleeper who doesnt want to go to bed there is little you can do about it if you believe the Child of our Time programm - some children's time clocks mean they like an early night others are the opposite. If you read Christopher Green's qualifications he is actually a doctor and not actually a psychologist I believe.

Absolute common sense and totally refreshing - really helpful and a reminder that parents are the ones in charge and more often than not you make the bed you lie on, so make it comfy all round. Light approach and humurous too.

Loaned this book from the library and it is due back tomorrow, so it is now on my Christmas list! Found it a humorous book which gave me some sound advice and took away the guilt and constant worry that comes with parenting a toddler. Already recommended it to my friends

Practical and forthright advice, organized into sensible sections. A bit heavy handed in places, but the sense of humour keeps you reading.

Very useful down to earth book, which deals with toddlers in a humorous way without any of the preaching done by some other parenting books.

Definitely the best parenting book I've seen to date.
