If you're tearing your hair out shouting 'What are you doing?!?!?' then this is the book for you.

Great read and a gives you a good laugh when you're despairing about why your child is doing annoying things. Especially liked the introductory chapters which give survey results on what toddlers are like (e.g. proportion who are fussy eaters etc.). Helped me understand the motivation behind toddler behaviour which in turn helps you to control it or at least cope with it.

With regards to some of his advice - I don't think you should follow it religiously (same as for most books), but for common sense practicality and reassurance you can't do better.

Fantastic book and very funny. Every time I have problems with my toddler I have a quick read and realise where I'm going wrong and put us back on track. Makes you realise that all toddlers can be demons not just yours!

Really love the no-nonsense, "here are some plans for you to deal with the naughtiness" suggestions, and recommend this book all the time. Having an expert tell you to do something gives you that extra bit of confidence.

This is the book for all parents with toddlers. It tells you what you need to know and is easy to use and concise. The book tells you how to handle everything from tantrums to toilet training, but most importantly that that 'weird behavouir' your toddler keeps exhibiting is actually normal. It made me realise that two year olds are just two year olds and that mum's are only human!
