An excellent thorough book with a gentle approach to parenting. The authors are parents and medical professionals which adds realism and authority to their writing.

Covers intricacies of brestfeeding/bottle feeding with love (sic), baby development, relationships within the family, sleeping, eating, growing and common medical ailments and first aid - all from an attachment parenting point of veiw.

If you are interested in this kind of parenting this book is a fantastic foundation.

I was bought this book just after the birth of my daughter by my father in law and his wife and I don't think they realised what a good choice they made! If you are after a book which advocates attachment parenting (by this I mean breastfeeding, baby wearing and co-sleeping), buy this book. It is very clear, informative and sympathetic and it is one book I keep referring back to.
