Tip of the day

Never ask a child IF they need the loo... moodlum

Quote of the week

CaptainNancy's (admirably succinct) family rules: "Don't be a dingbat/duffer. Keep calm and carry on. Dream big. Shut up and get on with it."

Recipe of the week

Carmenere's cinder toffee: sweet, sticky, made-in-five-minutes toffee squares that'll spark off a few 'yums' among the 'oohs' and 'aahs' of your little fireworks-watchers.

I love this highchair but be warned without the reins my little escape artist could climb out as soon as she started moving.

However i have managed to put on a pair of walking reins to sort this.

The ability to push this up to the table means i dont have to worry about storing it.

It is very easy to clean and the seat cushion is removable and easy thrown in the washer.

A good cheap version of the Trippe Trappe.

A cheaper copy of the Stokke Tripp Trapp or the Babydan beechwood chair. This budget version is around £25 which is significantly cheaper than the other versions.

More bulky than the other two and, like the others, has a slight tendency to tip if a child pushes against a table or firm object with his or her feet.

Great. Very similar to the Tripp Trapp, but half the price. Does not fold away. Very solid. Easy to clean.
