David Cameron on whether The Thick of It accurately represents the Conservative publicity machine: "I love The Thick of It. V funny... but only true about the other lot (not)."

We love this chair though we have had a couple of problems. We bought the babyset so our son could use it from 6 months but, as he is big for his age, by 8 months we had to remove the leather crotch piece because it was cutting him in half! We then had to fix a harness to the chair to stop him from sliding out. Even with a harness (not apparently available from Stokke so you have to make do with a standard safety harness) he still occasionally slides down the seat and gets wedged between the curved baby bar and the seat - means you have to keep a careful eye on him. Perhaps not best for big babies who are not yet able to sit without the safety bar in front.

I think it is only suitable for older babies. I think it has faults - the cotton cover needs washing every 2 seconds, the babysit bar is fixed so getting little one in and out is difficult and they up with bruised legs. Not having a tray is a bad idea as your table gets filthy and damaged, so if it's wood, not a good idea and you'll need to invest in a plastic tablecloth. Baby can soon learn to stand up in chair and clamber onto the table which is not great and then to use straps is a pain and they will kick up a fuss. Chair would be much improved if it had a tray that could be used in the early days and the baby bar opened up to allow your child to get in and out more easily.

It is brilliant! Really easy to keep clean, doesn't take up much space (fits under the table), means that family meals are just that and isn't an eyesore!
