We got our tripp trapp a couple of weeks ago for our 6 month old baby and we/she loves it. Promotes eating at the table so we all eat together which is messy but fun. She also sits and plays in it at the table when not eating. If you have a fancy table, put a mat on it so baby doesnt damage the table. Also our baby is extremely active and bobs up and down in it/flings herself about. I dont think any other chair would still be upright with all the movement, but the tripp trapp has extendable support on legs so she is very safe it it.

Although putting it together looks complicated when you take it out of the box, it isnt and is well worth the 15 mins or so it takes.

Plus it looks great and lasts throughout childhood.

I have four Tripp Trapp's in my house - so it is safe to say that I love it. Each of my children have had them since they were old enough to be weaned and I have recommended it to so many people that I have lost count.

I think that it really comes into its own as a chair as your child moves out of the baby set. from toddlerhood through early schooling it is an essential piece of equipment. My oldest child is now 7 and he still uses his Tripp Tapp at the kitchen table everyday and to be honest i prefer to sit on them than on the two adult chairs that we have!
