This is the best piece of equipment we have bought. We used it right from when our daughter was tiny, even though she used to slump in conventional highchairs. It slots in nicely under the table, doesn't take up loads of space and means that the baby really feels part of family meal time. I would definitely recommend it.

Lovely looking and you wouldn't buy it if you wanted to fold up and store. Don't find the fabric covers create a problem as I just put them in the wash with all the other laundry every few days and dry overnight.

I used to think it was the perfect (and beautiful looking) highchair, but it has two faults

1. THe mess - sometimes a tray would be really handy therefore another time I would choose a chair with a removeable tray so I could have the option

2. My son actually caused the chair to tip backwards, something I thought was impossible due to the design. It was placed on a blanket (to limit the mess) and he pushed back with his feet against the table. Miraculously his head hit a thick doormat, but it could have been really nasty.

However, I now make sure this can't happen and overall I think I am fairly pleased with it.

Recommended. Tripp Trapp is a piece of furniture built to last rather than an item of baby equipment. I love the way it blends in with the 'grown up' furniture, and that our son can eat all his meals at the table with us, as a family.

Fantastic highchair! Really stylish and fits happily into any decor. I really like the fact that you can choose the chair frame colour and cushions seperately (if you look around, there are a lot to choose from). Although initially expensive this really will last your child forever. Baby seat is a must, my 3 year old is still using hers and I feel she is much safer with the security of a bar and sturdy backrest.
