We have two of these and the children have used them since the ages of 2 and 4. I can't comment on how good they are for babies therefore. However, for toddlers and small children they are fantastic. They adjust completely to provide the optimum sitting position for the child, with a solid footrest that stops a child from dangling their legs or slumping. We changed our kitchen table for one with quite a deep skirt to it, and the chairs adjusted completely to fit the new table, in a way that our previous high chairs could not have done. The children can be tucked right in to the table and are able to sit upright in a comfortable way.

An amazing chair! We were lucky enough to be given one when my son was born, and have used it since he's been able to sit up by himself (along with the babyset and cushion set.) He loves being sat at the table for having his meals or just sitting and playing at a height that means he's safe and able to see what's going on. Only thing I would say is that the base cushion is a bit awkward to use when you've got the brackets for the harness in place. It means that you have to have the seat quite far back, which didn't suit our little boy. Also you have to loosen the whole chair to take it off to wash (which could be quite often) so we've given up and he just uses his nappy as his seat cushion! :-) I love it and recommend it to anyone who asks me what we use. I know it's expensive, but when you consider it will take an adult it can easily be transported to their bedroom for their desk once they've decided they don't want it at the table anymore! Although having said that my cousin's little boy is 6 and he and his friends always fight over who's going to sit in his so it isn't seen as a baby seat by 6 year old boys!
Buy one if you can afford it, you will get your money's worth.

I have three of these for each of my children (4,3 and 9m) and cannot rate the tripp trapp highly enough! I finally decided to buy one for my then 6m old, and after lots of research could see the benefits for my two older children(they never looked comfy at the table). They are expensive, but will last for years, they are easy to clean(unlike those big bulky highchairs) and they look really good at the table. My only regret is that I should have bought them in different colours so we know who's whose!

Got one for our son when he was just one, and it is great. He loved it immediately and I do too, its easy to keep clean (even in white) and looks great. I just wish the accessories, cushions etc, were not so expensive.

We have two Tripp Trapps and they are the best buy we have made for our dc. This is in terms of how long they are being used for (from 6 months to adulthood) My dd (6) now has hers positioned so that dh and I can sit in it no problem. I'm sure she will use it for years to come. And the second point is there is nothing we have disliked about them. They do the job and look good too.
