Have had mine for six years and is still in great condition despite being used outside and even stored in the shed! The detachable tray is a Godsend as you can wash it in the sink. If you want added comfort some baby stores sell padded high chair seat liners tho' I never needed one. Only downside for me was the fact that it does not fold away. This does mean it's very sturdy even with a toddler attempting to climb in by themselves it did not tip over.

Even at twice the price this highchair would be good value. It may not be wooden - but it looks fine. Our son finds it comfortable, it is easy to clean, and the tray comes off very easily. It does not fold up - but neither do many of its much more expensive competitors. It also has the advantage of being very light - which does give it soeme portability (we have carried it to our local restaurant). At this price, you can buy an extra one for the grandparents anyway. Our best buy. Don't be fooled into thinking you need to spend over £100 for a highchair.

Very scarey - I had my 20 mth daughter in one at a pub last night and she decided she wanted out. She went to pull herself up using the back of the seat and it snapped straight off - sending her backwards head first towards the stone floor.

Thankfully I and the next table managed to dive at her in time and catch her. The manager told us that the seat was only a couple of weeks old!

You would have to invest on a cushion too, if a baby is to sit on this chair. For a toddler is perfect.
