The only reason I bought these is because they are a bit more biodegradable than mainstream nappies. I found up to about size 3 they worked fine becasue up to that size you are changing fairly frequently anyway. After that I found to be them not so efficient. They are slightly rougher than other disposables, prone to getting a bit lumpy and certainly not suitable as an overnighter - don't hold enough liquid. In short they are fine probably for the first year to 18 months, thereafter you need something more heavy duty.

Not having all those awful chemicals is enough to make me happy to pay more for these nappies but they are quite expensive. We only use them for holidays though as use washables otherwise.
