David Cameron on whether The Thick of It accurately represents the Conservative publicity machine: "I love The Thick of It. V funny... but only true about the other lot (not)."

My baby girl suffered permanent nappy from very early on. Nothing would shift it, or reduce it - i tried every ointment, airing her as much as possible in the day, not using any wipes or products that might aggrivate it, and then i tried Pampers Sensitive nappies - and since then she has never suffered since. The health visitor thinks it was due to an allergic reaction to the perfume in nappies as she has particularly sensitive skin. Most nappies contain perfume (even though you can't smell it), and even the eco nappies (which were the ones i was using before) are not necessarily good for sensitive baby's skin. But these nappies are perfume free, anti allergy, and are breathable, as well as having a soothing natural aloe vera coating inside. The comfort of them is amazing too - really soft and stretchy, and not bulky, and the tabs are soft too so they never dig into her skin. They are quite pricey, and i wish they did an eco friendly version of them, but i felt that getting my baby's skin clear was more important than cost. And they do work!

Really soft nappies with a fabric feel, and don't seem to smell of chemicals unlike some other brands. However, three points that niggled: 1) they can be difficult to find - smaller chemists/supermarkets don't stock them, and even larger Boots stores didn't always have any left, so I used to have to buy several packs at a time. 2) They don't appear to be sold in economy-size packs, so are not as good value as other nappies in the Pampers range. 3) They only come in three sizes, 3, 4 and 5 - but are not generously sized I feel, so they actually no longer fit my daughter, even though she only wears a 4+ in other brands. For these reasons, I swapped to Huggies Super-Flex a while back, which are closer to the softness of Pampers Sensitive than, for example, Pampers Baby-Dry are.

I love these as they don't cause any problems with Tom's skin because other brands that we tried caused him to get a rash and these didn't.

Reviewers were unanimous that for babies with sensitive skin these are "just the job". As one put it: "My daughter suffers from eczema - even the slightest damp irritates her skin terribly as well as any material that is not superkind to the skin. Since she was born, I must have tried every nappy available and these nappies are by far the best". Another mum confirmed: "After I switched to these, my daughter's nappy rash completely cleared up". Overall a winning combination of reliability and "super-comfort".
