This book's great if you read it before you're about to go shopping. Don't, however, expect it to deliver if you're after something quick from the ingredients you're likely to have in your cupboards in an emergency. I found that most recipes have at least one major ingredient that makes you turn the page to find something else.

This is fantastic...THE CRISPY DUCK WORKS!!

I think that says it all really.

I collect cookbooks and this one really would be in my all time top 10 for quick fancy dinners when you have children.

I've actually cooked recipes from this book, as opposed to just sitting reading it like I do with the other dozen or so cookbooks I have.

Good range of recipes, some new ideas, some takes on old favourites. Easy to follow instructions and lovely illustrations.
