This book is not just recipes, its a look at country life and how you can go back to basics of good wholesome British cooking. Using good fresh organic ingredients to make satisfyingly good food.

There is a nice section on tips for the kitchen, making jam and chutneys.

Glorious photography, this cookbook is also a good read.
