I love this book - and all other Nigella books. The recipes don't have masses of ingredients, are easy to follow and produce tasty and impressive results. The quantities are always either spot on or on the generous side. One of the only books I would cook a recipe from for a dinner party without first trying it out.

Mixed feelings. Have felt a lot of the recipes need tweaking and I am no chefess. Have to say though that this has actually endeared me to the book as I have 'improved' them for my family with time. It is my only cook book with pencilled notes in the margins. (I have a lot of cook books). I do like Nigella's cooking. Feast is a worthy addition to your shelf.

a fantastic book with wonderful recipes the chocolate cake hall of fame alone is well worth the cover price.
but I would say it is a good idea to look around for reviews of particular recipes for adjustments

This is a great read a swell as a glorious cookbook. I can recommend the ritzy chicken nuggets - regular appearances chez moi, and I love the section on foods for funerals.
