My daughters are now 4 and 6 and I continue to use this book for ideas and inspiration. Now that my DD's are that bit older they love to choose what we cook from her books and they love nothing more than producing a healthy meal for the whole family to enjoy.

Yes some of the recipes in the book are just common sense but isn't that all a lot of mums need? Someone backing us up that are instincts to try new things with our children are OK? I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this book to any parent.

A few good recipes - muffins, for example.

But the rest of the book is either dull or fiddly.

she occasionally sneaks in salty ingredients.

glossy, but lacks substance.

Fantastic. I've been using this since the children were weaned, and they are now 3 and 5 years old. Her muffin recipes make the best muffins my husband has ever eaten, according to him! Her recipes are great for the whole family and usually easy and pretty quick. I like knowing exactly what can be frozen too as I like to cook and freeze large batches of food. We have yet to find a duff recipe in any of her books and she's champion at getting the children to eat fruit and veg from an early age.
