Having spent quite some time looking a various beds we have decided to go with the Flexa modular system, starting with the Nelly bed. This is a single bed that can adapted at a later date to a bunk bed or a midsleeper/cabin.

The reason we chose Flexa is... because I hear continual positve feedback from people who have their beds, the sheer excellent quality, the look (they have a classy but modern and fresh appearance, no unpleasant shine on their clear laquer,) and have such fab accessories too.

All in all a product built to last and last, but which looks good also! If you can stretch to a Flexa, I say go-for-it!!!

All of our three children have Flexa beds. Granted - Flexa beds aren't cheap, but they are extremely sturdy and retain their good looks for many, many years. Their modular design mean that the bed should last your child from toddlerhood to adolescence as you can add and take away a multitude of components and customise it to your child's requirements.

The slatted bed base is properly sprung - not feature commonly found in children's beds, and the Flexa mattresses are excellent too with a very long life span, although a standard single mattress will also fit fine.

Certain online retailers frequently have special offers on complete Flexa beds - keep an eye out for those, there's no need to pay full price!
