This is the perfect bed. It can be used as a bunk bed with the futon underneath or separated to provide a single bed and settee/bed.

it is a high sleeper and has great ladders which are sturdy and strong.nVery easy to assemble (according to DH) and recommended !!!

not the cheapest bed but excellent quality.
