A great next step as I wanted to feel my 4 year old was still as safe as possible and I love the extra padding on the head section. Also the way that it secures itself to the headrest helps with stability.

I bought this seat for my 3 1/2 yr old after careful consideration and looking at which? reports.

It is easy to install, light so easy to move between cars and can be slightly reclined (although not in transit!).

My daughter has fallen asleep in hers on several occasions when not in the recline position and so far has not had the nodding dog effect.

The only thing it lacks is probably a bit more padding on the seat for long journeys. My daughter thinks her new seat is very grown up. I am very pleased with it and would recommend it to a friend.

I bought this seat for my son who is 2.9 yrs old, as his younger brother has had to move up a seat from his rear-facing one.

It is a high-back booster with fairly good comfort and protection, but on our first journey my son fell asleep in it and his head and upper body lolled forward so much that I felt it was unsafe to use, despite him being in the right weight and height bracket for this product.

There is a reclining function on the seat but this did not improve things much. I took the seat back to the store (only had it three days and it was still immaculate!)and exchanged it for a Silver Cross Navigator.

I am sure that for an older child, this seat would be fine, but I think it is highly unsuitable for 2-3 year olds or those at the lower end of the weight and height range.

Ideally I would not recommend moving children to this kind of seat until they are too big for their current seat. Of course, a small age gap between siblings, plus financial constraints, mean that that this is not always possible.

Overall, a nice-looking seat but expensive compared to others, bearing in mind that it has a pretty basic recline function and poor side protection for a sleeping child.
