The miPump looks very basic compared to other electric breast pumps on the market but I chose it for exactly that reason - it is very easy to use, very portable and has so few pieces the put together compared to other brands.

The pump itself can fit in your handbag and can run from the mains or from AA batteries. It connects to the bottle using a very simple tube that you push into place. The bottle and breast pieces push together and are very easy to take apart and clean.

The pump has 8 speeds and this gives a lot of flexibility. The breast piece is nothing fancy but has actually turned out to be the most comfy and effective one I have tried.

The pump comes with a bottle, teat, two freezer bags and a handbag which is actually of really good quality and more than big enough to hold all the bits you need to take your pump with you on your travels.

I would definitely recommend this to all mums.
