With only 3 parts, the Closer to Nature ™ breast pump is easy to clean and put together, and simple and effective to use. The soft-touch, flexible cup moulds to your breast for comfort and support. It comes complete with a milk storage bottle, and its own microwave steriliser box.

I wouldn't recommend this pump for regular use - eg if you are going back to work and want to pump daily, or if you wish to increase/maintain milk supply through pumping. It stimulates the nipple rather than the breast and doesn't have any option for increasing/reducing size of cup.

However it is simple and easy to use and OK for occasional pumping, especially if you have plenty of milk.

For my first three I used an Avent pump but it eventually wore out and I didn't want to spend too much on a new one that I knew I wouldn't be using much. This one was halfprice in Tesco when I got it and despite being cheaper than others I've found it to be fine. It's probably not the best if you are doing a lot of expressing (I used it 2/3 times per week at most) but it is very easy to use and easy to take apart/put back together. The little rubber piece that the milk goes through is pretty thin so you need to be careful when cleaning (I tore mine). The box for sterilising is a bit small but overall this is a good buy.

Brilliant - easy to use, easy to take apart, easy to clean, great for those of us who only want to express infrequently (although I use mine every day).

Loved it! I breastfed my son for 12 months and I can say that when I was struggling in the first few weeks - this was a godsend easy to use and not painful in any way! Also it was quick and easy to clean and sterlise and put back together. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND this along with the closer to nature bottles which my son still uses now.

I found this uncomfortable and not very effective. It didn't so much pump from the breast as from the nipple. I was ready to give up expressing until I bought a different pump. It was however easy to put together, and had an adapter so you can use it with TT or wide necked bottles.
