This was an absolute lifesaver when my LO had jaundice and wouldn't breastfeed for the first two weeks. It's almost as good as the hospital ones, quieter and much more portable. I like that the breast attachment is soft and also the two different types of pumping action, which really helped to get the milk flowing. Only one downside - if your flow is very storng you can occasionally get a backwash up the suction tube which can flood the machine, but as it's watrproof this isn't a real issue. Miles better than the manual pumps I tried.

I love my pump! This was fairly expensive but so quick and easy to use. The two phase action is great you get lots of short stimulating sucks until the milk starts flowing , then at the press of a button (or automatically after a while lest you forget!) it changes to long strong sucks. You can pump into the bottle provided or straight into sterile freezer bags or the bottles provided for milk donation also handily screw right on. It comes apart for washing, just don't lose the valve, but if you do there are spares and accessories available. I used it when my milk had just come in to soften my breast and pull out my (naturally rather flat) nipple to allow my ds to latch on and now express to freeze and donate every night before bed (ds now sleeping 7 - 7 :-)) and get 200 - 300mls in less than 10 mins.

Tried a good few breast pumps & this was the best Great "let down" function which really helped me get the most from expressing & easily adjustable to suit me. Runs on batteries as well as mains power so easy to take away with you. Fantastic buy
