Teats cannot contain BPA because they are silicon or latex. The plastic which may leach BPA is polycarbonate (the glass like, hard, clear plastic bottles like avent, dr brown, tomee tippe close to nature, etc). I did contact medela about teats and they said nuk or mam teats may fit their bottle but I haven't tried yet.

Used this with my third child. Definitely quieter than my previous medela (child 2), but broke quite quickly (about 3 months) just started making a funny wheezy noise and stopped working - which was disappointing. Fairly easy to use and more efficient than the hand expresser I tried with child 1, but nowhere near as good as the Ameda double pump I moved on to when this conked out.

I didn't think too much of this pump to be honest. I found it took quite a long time to get my milk going and it broke quite quickly. I was disappointed because I'd used the handheld electric Medela pump with my last baby and that was fab

Great pump all round. Only 60db, which is great when you know you're going to spend hours of your life expressing!
