Quote of the week

CaptainNancy's (admirably succinct) family rules: "Don't be a dingbat/duffer. Keep calm and carry on. Dream big. Shut up and get on with it."

Recipe of the week

Carmenere's cinder toffee: sweet, sticky, made-in-five-minutes toffee squares that'll spark off a few 'yums' among the 'oohs' and 'aahs' of your little fireworks-watchers.

I found this very comfortable to use although you do really need to use two hands with it. The pump is very effective and easy to clean. The assembly is very simple - I would recommend this for one-off expressing.

Users like the fact that this was "easy to put together" and "simple to take apart". Plus it's "comfortable because the breast shield is squidgy" but this means "you need two hands to make it work properly, so it's not ideal for expressing while breastfeeding" and it's "quite small which can makes it tricky to operate comfortably even for users with small hands". It's light but you need additional medela equipment to seal it sterile, so it's not that portable". Overall though reviewers were happy: "it provides a good supply without too much effort".
