Supplier says

The Philips AVENT ISIS Manual Breast Pump includes 2 AVENT Bottles (125ml/4oz). Mums can express directly into the container which can then be used with the Airflex Feeding Bottle for easy feeding. The pump works quickly, gently and quietly without the need for motors or batteries.

Maybe it was just me but I never managed to get more than 4 oz (110mls) of milk from expressing at any one time with this breast pump. Wish I had tried the Medela ones. I found that the funnel leaked milk drops on to my lap when I wasn't concentrating hard on holding the pump. I definitely needed two hands to hold the pump, it was too much of a stretch for one hand. You have to lean forward at quite an uncomfortable angle to get the best results - this makes relaxing or watching TV difficult. I also got very sore breasts once or twice from expressing in the early weeks.

Quiet and easy to use when on the move but far too complicated to assemble, too many fiddly bits. Also used to get hand ache!

I used this when I went back to work when my baby was 4 months old. We moved houses when she was 3 months so I needed a good breast pump because I couldn't store any milk in the freezer. There were no problems I encountered using it, but like all breast pumps I'm sure you need practice, practice, practice. I liked the way all the other Avent cups and bottles and accessories were all interchangeable and spare parts were readily available. I really got my money's worth I feel but if you're only buying a breast pump for the odd night out then hand expressing is a lot cheaper and that's what I did second time around when I didn't go back to work until after weaning.

I found this pump very easy to use. It was far more comfortable than the Tommee Tippee one I had tried previously as the suction cup was cushioned. Easy to clean and I had no problem putting it together. Great if you have an Avent microwave steriliser as it has slots in the mesh that are the right size for all the parts.

Superb, I used it in combination with an electric pump as it can tend to hurt your wrist after a while (as any hand pump would). Great for compatibility and the accessories and additional bottles are readily availible and not too expensive. The only problem I had was that the inner sheild was never that stable, so I spent a lot of each time trying to keep that in place. Really compact and straightforward to use also quite reliable. Also easy to sterilise and reassemble, there are not small pieces to get lost and the pump never broke or really became worn.
