I bought this secondhand while expecting no 2. Really wish I'd had it the first time around. Once you get the hang of putting it altogether its really quick and easy. I even lost one of the valves on the last working day before Christmas. You can order all the spares from Ameda, and I was really happy and surprised when the new valve arrived the very next day in the post. Great product and great company.

A fabulous bit of kit! Why didn't I get one last time? This pump is really easy to assemble, and seems to be very efficient at removing milk quickly. It's not that noisy - my trusty Avent Isis which I used several times a day for 7 months with DS had a very loud squeak, which was probably more annoying than the sound of this one. The narrow necked bottles supplied didn't come with teats, but they're compatable with Medela teats that I found in Mothercare.

This pump got me through the first couple of difficult weeks when I was trying to kickstart my milk production. The variable settings also meant that it was gentle enough to help me express when I had a nasty bout of mastitis. A great bit of kit!

This pump kept me breast feeding when I really wanted to give up. I'd tried others and got nowhere - and it was uncomfortable ( with already cracked nipples) This one was fast ( as dual) and pain free and got loads of milk out. I bought 2 full sets of everything that needed sterilising as I was mostly expressing to bottle feed at one point - so bad was actual breast feeding. I've had 2 and since lent it for 5 other babies - so it's durable too!

Great pump, adjustable vacuum(strength) and cycles and because it's dual means you can usually get a let down reflex and therefore more milk.

Use it with one of those horrendous looking nippless tops for easy hands free pumping

This is a fab product. I exclusively expressed for 6mths for my twins using this pump and it never let me down. It's quick, quiet and easy to use. Can't fault it at all.
