It's quiet and easy to use. I had a lot of b/f problems at the start and nipples were very sore and damaged - hand pumps were too vicious. Because the suction is variable on the Ameda, I could express very gently while my wounds healed!!!

Reviewers raved: "fabulous", "quick" and "ideal for anyone pumping at work, because it's fast and efficient and doesn't make too much noise!" Most found it "easy to put together" though it can be "a bit tricky to use on both sides at once as it needs both hands". It's not the cheapest or the most portable but "if you're serious about expressing it's definitely worth the investment" plus "it's certainly cheaper than other dual electric pumps". Overall users were very happy: "I just wish I had bought it earlier".
