Wonderful investment. It is pricey but then if you are serious about bf, it is VERY worthwhile. The pump is really powerful so it is fast. The fact that you can do 2 at the same time is a godsend - but you can have the option of doing one at a time if you want to as well - great for when you are feeding and pumping together.
It is also very mobile - I have even pumped at the O2 and Wembley so it can't be that bad :)
Can't rave about it enough. On a down side - Valves do go after a while - so would recommend that you purchase more from the outset so that you are not caught out. And it is not easily available in the shops. I had to go the West End to get mine!

This revolutionised my breastfeeding life. I'd never really got on with expressing before, and was worried I wouldn't be able to work out how to use this, but it was pretty straightforward and easy to use and just so quick and efficient. Of course you look a mite strange when dual pumping but once you get over that it's just great to be able to express from both breasts - great for when babe starts sleeping longer but you wake up with aching bosoms full of milk!
Adaptable - you can use as a single pump and feed baby on the other side. Not cheap, but worth every penny if you want to make expressing part of your routine for a while.

Fantastic. I expressed a couple of times a day for six months and it really stood up to the test. It's efficient because you do both breasts at once, and super-powerful - really was the most effective one I found for generating a swift let down and for overall milk production. It's a little bit fiddly but really does the job as advertised. As good as those industrial hospital ones. You might not want to cough up the cash if you're just planning on expressing occassionally but if you're doing it regularly it's definitely worth every penny.

Fantastic, particularly if you need to do a lot of expressing, eg for special care baby - I couldn't have lived without this! Both my babies had short-term feeding problems and one was in special care being tube fed for several weeks, so while I got to loathe the machine as I felt it was permanently attached at times, with distance and time I can look back and appreciate it, as I couldn't have done as much expressing with out it! Much less noisy than the hospital milking machine, and easy enough to put together in dim lighting in the middle of the night. I also lent it to a friend so it's lasted 3 babies and still going strong: pretty impressive.

Fantastic pump. Does what it says on the tin. Have recommended it to lots of people who have all been happy with it's efficiency. If you buy or are given one second hand then go to the Ameda website and buy a new collection point.
