Lovely middle weight summer read. If you are looking for something other than the usual trashy "chick-lit" for summer but nothing too heavy, this is a good choice. Full of "gentle" depth and characters, lovely interesting and interweaving plots with very believable scenarios, this is a great read. Set in the 1920s, it follows the story of 3 women going to India. All going for different reasons and expectations, none prepared for what is ahead.
