It was a slow start but a lovely romantic tale of a young woman who never finds true love and is always looking in the wrong places. Of course during the story she finds a rather rich man (who naturally she has no awareness of his status) but she keeps putting problems in the path of their romance until eventually it all works out. It's wonderful and predictable but totally unputdownable. Harriet is a thrilling writer who keeps the pace going in a truly sweet boy meets girl story.
