Having read lots of "similar" books I was very pleasantly surprised with this take on a modern mummy's life book. It had me laughing out loud and I could certainly identify all the majory character traits depicted in the book, from smug mother of girls to alfa mum.
Hillarious!

This book had me laughing at loud at some points (annoying my husband who at the time was trying to get to sleep). I thought my life was disorganised and chaotic and my washing pile out of control, but I have nothing on Lucy! Great light-hearted distraction :-)

Being a mothers... hardest job in the world eh?!. I found the book funny..I had a few laugh out loud moments... very embarrassing when was in the doctor's waiting room and just couldn't stop. It's great fun and makes me think that I'm not such a useless mother at times!
Anyone planning to go away this year and are searching for a fun read...this is the one!

I loved this book. Anyone with kids will I am sure associate themselves with the school run etc., and the "different types" of mums you meet as your children are growing up. It had me laughing all the way through. I had this as a mothers day present and was a bit perplexed when I first saw the title, but it's an excellent read, I couldn't put it down.

Whilst not rip-roaringly hilarious, fairly amusing at times. I read this feeling slightly alienated from the very metropolitan protagonist with the slightly aspergic husband, but still recognised many of the facets of daily life that all mothers, from all walks of life, must face.
