This short book is enormously witty and urbane, as you would expect Oscar Wilde to be. You will probably delight, as I did,at the familiar one liners that you encounter along the way.

However, this wonderfully well written book has a real sting in its tail as it exposes our ridiculous vanity in a way that is both hugely entertaining and incredibly thought provoking. If you want an accessible read that will probably stay with you for the rest of your life I can't recommend this classic book more highly.
