I absolutely loved this book. I thought it would be confusing, but it was done in such a way that it was very easy to follow. A beautiful love story.

I cry my eyes out evety time, but it doesn't stop me reading it over and over. The most beautiful tale of "long distance" love ever written. Will be a classic

I enjoyed this book immensely, despite a slow start and my mathematician's cynicism at the concept of time travel. However, I was fascinated by the way the difficult plot entwined itself around the central theme of love, real romantic love, with a sense of inevitability and intuition that I instantly recognised. I found myself thinking 'If it happens, this is how'. The emotional depth of the story, which left me sobbing at times, was ofset by the comical and witty details, the earthy and frequent sex, and the occasional shocking act of violence. The author also captured beautifully the sense of desperation at trying to conceive, and the heartbreak of miscarrying. This book resonated with me through and through, and I loved it.

Amazingly well written novel. It really keeps you gripped right to the very end and the travelling back and forth in time keeps the pace fast and the pages turning. It is one of the best books ive read in a long time and i am not easily pleased, especially when it comes to 'love' stories.
