Couldn't live without this! For me its the only carrier that doesn't leave me with a crippled back after carrying my 2 year old. So much easier than a pushchair!

Very comfortable to wear, though getting a younger child into it requires a bit of a knack...does get easier with practice though.
Very light so you are only carrying the weight of the child.

Although the design of this carrier is very versatile my daughter really didn't take to it. She hated not being able to see where she was going (which she had been able to do in her other carrier) while we were walking and kept twisting round, which made the carrier slip off my shoulders.
I found it very difficult to put on on my own and nearly dropped my daughter a couple of times, as she was trying to twist round.
The pouch at the front is very useful for bits and bobs (mobile phoine, keys, dog poop scoop bags etc).
It was comfortable to wear when my daughter was sitting upright but I found it didn't sit so well as she was twisting round.
Might just be my wriggly, nosey one year old that it does not work for (!)

It is a good 'gateway' carrier for first timers. Easy to get to grips with. However, for petite women the shoulder straps tend to slip off and the waistbelt is oversized. I found that once my daughter was mobile she could lean too far backwards when on my back. I only had the classic and I understand teh New Generation has a higher back.
There are similar carriers on the market that are also more attractive and 'ergo'nomically and slimlined and about the same price so it pays to look around.
The recent business practices of Ergo has recently become controversial so for those with concerns in this area you may want to read this thread: http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk?topicid=1012&threadid=478974#9672091

Comfy and easy to use (as long as you are confident about throwing your child round your shoulder).
I found it a little broad on the shoulder and so preferred the Beco.
