My baby loves being carried around in this. And it is very easty to use. Now baby is three months old he can face outwards and see the world. I have taken him on very long walks but I overdid it once with a 3 hour walk and pulled a muscle in my shoulder which put me off it for a couple of weeks. Baby is quite happy to fall asleep in the sling or quietly look around and it is nice to be able to talk to him and kiss his head and hold his hands and feet when you are out walking. The only downside is that it is very hot. I was tempted to buy the synergy because since I was pregnant my temperature has gone up but I thought that it would just be hot from the baby. But it also gets hot around the back which is not so comfortable for summer. Baby's nappy area got particularly hot in which was slightly worrying but didn't seem to bother him.

This seemed like a good idea at the time, and it is certainly the easiest-to-obtain sling but I just found it too uncomfortable once DS was 5wks/about 15lbs. It was really hard to change the set-up from DH's proportions to mine each time, to get it just right. I made the switch to a fabric sling and found it sooooo much more comfortable.

We got one of these when our daughter got too wriggly to put in her Close carrier safely. She absolutely loves facing out in it and seeing the world, it's endlessly entertaining for her and other people too!
It's a lot more comfy on my back than other ones I tried, and DH who is a good 6" taller can adjust it to be comfy on him too. I can carry her for a good few hours without too much trouble - though I would recommend using a small rucksack as a changing bag to balance you out. It's also very easy to pop her in and know that her back is properly supported, with the Close it was hard to adjust the straps properly to get her back straight (though that's more our fault than that product)
Downside; when she's facing in, her feet bang against my legs which we both find a bit irritating.

We bought this rather than the classic since I have back trouble and this has the added lumbar support. We didn't use the pushchair for the first 3 months and our daughter loved falling asleep in it. It was the only sure way of getting her to nap! We bought the cover for this and it was invaluable during the winter. Now that our daughter's a bit older she loves facing outwards and seeing what's around her. This is possibly the best baby buy we made.
