Well worth learning how to tie it. Much more comfortable than the Bjorn which made my back ache within 500 yards. This is brilliant and comfortable. DD feels secure and snug. Has several different positions for when baby gets older.

This was much more comfortable than the Baby Bjorn when my baby was younger. Now he's eight months, I feel as if he is hanging off my shoulders, and the straps on the inside dig into his belly.

When he is face forward, I can't adjust it so that the cushion does not cover his mouth and sometimes it covers his nose too if he falls asleep - this is probably incorrect positiioning, but even after practice I find that he's often in a poor position by the end of the trip. Not good if you need to get your baby in and out on the move as you need to lie baby on a flat surface.

I'd recommend this for small babies, but hasn't lasted for me.

tried it, gave up.

The straps are just absurdly long. I didn't feel comfortable faffing with 11 metre bits of ribbon when I had a baby crying at me. You have to do some complex looping thing. And THEN you have to get it off. I swopped mine for a baby gym and everyone was much happier.

Can't see what this offers that the baby bjorn doesn't, really.

I was handed one on by a friend after complaining that my papoose had too many buckles and straps, and it's been great so far. DS sleeps happily in it and it's comfortable to wear. My criticisms - the straps are really long so have a tendency to dangle in puddles if you're getting it on outside and are a bit awkward to deal with. Also, my osteopath wasn't convinced that the baby's neck has sufficient support when facing forward. Good things are that it is comfortable to wear and washes well. Note that the website has films to show you how to put it on in the various positions - I found that really useful.
