I used the Wilkinet almost every day from when DD was 2 weeks old until she was over a year old - it was definately value for money !

It is very comfortable . It can be a bit of a palaver to get on and off at first but we soon got used to it and it is actually less complicated than it looks .

I liked that my husband and I could both use it without having to readjust straps and buckles etc.

My husband has a bad back but never suffered any pain using the Wilkinet .

DD loved being in it - we all loved it .

Definitely a sling vs a baby carrier. Great for comforting a baby while you are pottering around the house or just popping out. Quite tricky to put on until you get the hang of it and if you are on your own. Very comfortable to wear once you have got the adjustment right.

A friend lent me one, and though the straps were off-putting, the video on the website is easy to follow. My son (3 weeks) loves it, so does my back! Excellent for times/places a buggy won't go.

Really comfortable and comforting for a newborn - enabled me to cuddle the new baby whilst getting on with jobs and playing with my toddler. Simple to put on once you have the hang of it. It's been really useful to have the options of different positions.

An essential purchase.Forget Bill Amberg sheepskin and leather, tempting though it is! The wilkinet buys you TIME! You won't realise it's worth until you have one. Other slings need constant adjusting of buckles and straps depending on the size of the babe, and also when changing from one person to the next (eg mother to father). The wilkinet 'self adjusts'to the wearer.Just pull it taut and you're away.Yes, it's daunting when you first put it on, but that takes minutes to get used to. Great for grizzly babies around the house, and often much easier than a buggy when shopping or out for a walk. After 4 children, this is one of my top five essential purchases for a new mother.Easy to wash, too, and folds down to nothing. Enjoy!
