I bought this shortly after my son was born. I'd had a front-carrying sling when I had my daughter and had hated it - I found it put a lot of strain on my back, and my poor daughter couldn't get comfy because my chest got in the way. I decided to try the SlingEasy when my son was a few weeks old as he was rather clingy and I needed something that would allow me to carry him around whilst getting on with other day to day activities. It was an absolute God-send. My son felt comfy and safe, I found the carrying position very comfortable with the weight being more evenly distributed and saving my back. It was also versatile and allowed for my son's growth and different needs. He started off cradled in it, and as he got bigger I was able to have him sitting on my hip like a little koala. He loved it in there, and I loved having him in it. He was a difficult baby who cried a lot and wanted a lot of contact (a complete shock after my mellow, easy going daughter) and I found the SlingEasy kept us close and both of us happier and made life generally easier.

I can honestly say that it was the purchase I made after ds was born.

We used this sling from birth with our first. She is now a large 18 month old and still always used by my husband and me if I'm carrying her for shorter periods of time.

Initially there seemed like a lot of fabric which the baby could potentially get 'lost' in but after a couple of experiments you get the hang of it.

It's super simple to put on and position and there are no ties or straps to contend with.

There are various position options and it comes with a very comprehensive instruction booklet.

I liked this sling, as unlike the Baby Bjorn I had before it's suitable for a wider age range but best of all there's no faffing about with fastening bits on to hold your baby in place. Once you've got the Sling Easy adjusted to you favourite way of carrying by slipping the tail through the locking rings to suite, you simply take this sling on and off over your head. It's very comfy as it's got good padding and also covers a big age range so it's handy to take with you when you'd rather not take a pushchair but know your walker will tire and want to be carried, so works out very economical

ALSO it looks like you have a tyre slung round you

bearing in mind that you will NOT look like the depicted model whilst you still have a newborn, why would you want to go around with a blue tyre around you? Avoid.
